Jenny Craig
If the commercials make you wonder how the model lost weight so easily, you need to thank Jenny Craig for the kind of regulated food intake that she advocates. In addition to eating sensibly and in the right quantity, the program suggests the right snacks and some other correct food substitutes that enable you to take healthy food in small share till you reach your weight objective. You can then slowly start eating your food. The only negative is the high price of this program.
Nutrisystem
This program is similar to Jenny Craig in the sense it also stresses on taking smaller portions of food. The difference is you can buy special food from them which works on the glycemic index of the body and is known to be very useful in reducing weight. It is also less costly and there is a good variety of food that is available. The only drawback is that some people do not like the eggs and cheese in powdered form that is presented in this program.
LA Weight Program
The schedule in this program is also very much like Nutrisystem and Jenny Craig and you are required to purchase the food from them. They provide you with little portions of nutritious food and also recommend you to buy their protein bars to meet your quota of protein for the day. This program is also on the expensive side.
Weight Watchers
In contrast to the ones mentioned above, the Weight Watchers is the least costly and they offer two schedules. The first one is the points one where depending on your body weight; you get to consume a specified number of points that is linked to the food as every food is allotted some points. With this basic plan, you are allowed to eat the amount you want as long as it is from the list that is provided by them. You also have to attend the meetings which are basically good for motivation and you get to meet other members like you. This program is popular due to its inexpensive nature.
As long as you are maintaining any of the above programs, you will manage to lose weight but will start gaining once you are off them. The only program which may not make you put on weight even if you stop is the Weight Watchers as it focuses on letting you know about healthy food and acts on the fundamentals of the body. This program also does not make you buy your groceries from them unlike Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem or LA Weight Loss and therefore works out much cheaper.
